Kickstart your career, join us in consumer insight that matters

St Albans or Leeds based

We are Kokoro

  • We work with the most ambitious brands across the UK and the world
  • Our clients range from digital start-ups to global super brands – in the last few months we’ve worked with Disney, PrettyLittleThing, O2, Purple Bricks and Oxfam
  • We are brave, challenging, and proud of how the power of our insights is evident on high streets, across communities, in people’s homes
  • We win industry awards – three at this year’s Aura Awards which recognise the impact we have on our clients’ brands
  • Our success is rooted in a simple truth: humans are driven by emotion not logic – and Kokoro has developed a unique feel for feelings that allows brands to connect and win
  • We use this emotional intelligence to get to the heart of clients’ challenges and spot their target audiences’ hot buttons
  • We love what we do, thrive off the buzz of delivering great work – we don’t just make recommendations, we make change

We want exceptional graduates

  • ‘Kokorers’ from our graduate scheme usually rise fast – we provide expert training plus ‘on the job’ development, so we will have you flying in no time
  • You’ll get stuck in from day one – working on live projects within one of our close-knit teams
  • You will develop skills across the entire project lifecycle – from initial brief to presenting to the client team
  • You’ll soon build a strong understanding of consumer behaviour by crafting research materials, conducting fieldwork, analysing data, and creating story-led reports

What you will bring

  • We are looking for ambitious, recent graduates (this year or last!) keen to develop a career in consumer insight – the type of people who know what others are going to say before they even…
  • Kokorers are sharp and intuitive, so we’re looking for smart, exceptional people who want to develop quickly, and who possess:
    • an interest in brands and what makes consumers tick
    • a desire to learn fast, embrace new ideas and challenge thinking
    • a calm, flexible nature – you can prioritise, and problem solve in fast-changing situations
    • logical and rigorous thinking skills, an analytical mind, and excellent attention to detail
    • the ability to spot key insights and tell an engaging story
    • a can-do attitude and willingness to go several extra miles
    • a strong academic track-record – at least a 2:1 in your degree (preferably, but not exclusively, from the following disciplines Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology)
    • proficiency in Microsoft Office

What you will get

  • A competitive starting salary of £24,000
  • Brilliant career-development opportunities – a commitment to helping you grow
  • Incentives throughout the year, linked to individual and company performance
  • 28 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays and your birthday off
  • Other benefits include paid-for lunches, free snacks & treats, gym discounts, dental scheme, and local retailer discounts
  • A team who likes to work hard and play hard – from legendary fancy dress Christmas parties to socials like fitness challenges and post-work drinks
